WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE SIZES: 23” and 28.5”

The size refers to the width of the track. The 23” version will work in a narrow area (say for instance, a hallway or through a doorway or between buildings). This is the only difference between the two sizes.

REGARDING THE EXTRA TRACK – WHAT IS THE DIFFERRENCE BETWEEN BUYING THE 4’ CENTER SECTIONS AND BUYING A 12’ ALUMINUM TRACK?

A 4’ center track section is made to extend the original 12’ track you get with your purchase of an Eazy Dolly. You will receive this with 2 connecting dowels and it will extend your track to 16’. If your intention is to keep adding sections to your original track, then purchase 4’ center sections – this can be as many as you like (or can afford). Purchasing a complete 12’ track means that you will have two separate tracks – if this if what you want. It’s not that the two 12’ tracks won’t connect –they will, however, the small rubber stops at either end of the track would be in the way and would cause the dolly to stop abruptly.

HOW MUCH WIEGHT CAN EAZY DOLLY HOLD?

The 28.5” Eazy Dolly was put to the test by one of our customers in Switzerland. He used the EZ Jib and said that he had about 159 lbs. loaded on it and it rolled “smooth”. See customer photos on the Home page – testimonial – customer photos at the bottom of the page. NOTE: we would not recommend this set-up on the 23” Eazy Dolly camera and track system.

DO YOU SELL THE TRACK AND DOLLY SEPARATELY?
They are sold only as a set.

DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE EAZY DOLLY IN STOCK?

We usually make about 20 to 25 Eazy Dolly’s at a time – half of each size. Orders vary from week to week and it’s hard to tell which size will sell faster. Please keep in mind that each Eazy Dolly camera and track system is hand crafted. Hopefully, when you receive yours you will see the workmanship and time that goes into making each one. If we don’t have your size available when you place an order, it may take up to two weeks to produce. Although, we are trying to accommodate every rush order, we do have limitations.

CAMERA BASE OR NO CAMERA BASE?

The camera base allows you to mount a fluid head directly onto Eazy Dolly. The camera base also allows you to pivot left, right and center for three different angles. The Eazy Dolly with camera base is made with welded plates for the support bar and the base, therefore, if you think you might want the camera base order that version as this cannot be added on later.

WILL MY TRIPOD FIT?

Each carriage is 2.5” X 2.5” tapering to zero at the bottom of the “V”. Most standard tripod legs fit into the carriage – we have been told that even spiked feet will work. Some customers use a bungee cord for extra security.

CAN I SPECIFIY THE COLOR OF WHEELS?

We provide 54mm soft core wheels. Graphic and color may vary depending on stock.

IS A CURVED TRACK AVAILABLE FOR EAZY DOLLY?

Not at this time, but Carlos is busy working on a design for this. As soon as we have it available we will definitely let you know.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY AND WHAT ABOUT CUSTOMS CHARGES?

We are shipping internationally and will be happy to let you know if we can ship to your country. The only limitation we have had so far is the length of the box we ship in. We have also found that shipping via U.S. Post Office is less expensive and just as fast and reliable as other carriers. Also, we will not ship as a “gift” as this is a federal offense and Carlos doesn’t want to be making these in jail. You will be responsible for taxes or custom charges from your country. There are no U.S. taxes for international shipments.
